An icon of Italian outerwear, the Max Mara Madame Coat is one of the house’s most recognisable designs. Originally created by Anne-Marie Beretta in 1981, its beautifully proportioned oversized silhouette and kimono-inspired sleeves have made this an enduring Max Mara signature.

Presented here in sophisticated navy, the coat is crafted from luxurious wool and cashmere beaver cloth. A lapel collar, softly structured shoulders, welt pockets and matching belt create an effortlessly elegant wrap silhouette that works equally well over tailoring or knitwear.
