An enduring Louis Vuitton travel icon, the Keepall Bandoulière 45 combines the house’s instantly recognisable Monogram canvas with a compact, lightweight silhouette designed for travel.
Crafted in brown Monogram coated canvas with natural Vachetta leather trim and gold-tone brass hardware, this vintage piece features twin rolled leather handles, a double-zip fastening and the characteristic leather bands running around the body of the bag. The spacious interior is lined in brown textile and offers ample room for travel essentials.
First introduced in 1930, the Keepall has become one of Louis Vuitton’s most recognisable luggage designs. The Bandoulière version was designed to accommodate a detachable shoulder strap, while retaining the supple construction and distinctive rounded profile of the original Keepall.
Condition
Very Good Condition.
The natural Vachetta leather has developed an aged honey patina with visible general signs of use. There is wear and darkening to the handles and leather trim, while the gold-tone hardware shows age-related wear and tarnishing.
The Monogram canvas presents well overall. The brown textile interior shows visible stain.

The bag displays numerous details consistent with authentic Louis Vuitton manufacture from the late 1990s, including the quality and grain of the Monogram coated canvas, natural Vachetta leather trim, characteristic yellow stitching, Louis Vuitton-engraved gold-tone hardware and period-appropriate construction. The placement and typography of the “LOUIS VUITTON PARIS made in France” heat stamp and the SP0998 date code are also consistent with examples from this era.
