An instantly recognisable Hermès Clic Clac H bracelet, combining cool blue enamel with polished silver-tone hardware and the house's iconic H clasp.

The bracelet has a structured oval bangle silhouette, with glossy blue enamel panels framed by polished metal. At the centre, the sculptural H functions as both the signature design element and the fastening mechanism, creating the beautifully clean, architectural appearance that has made Hermès enamel bracelets enduring house classics.

This appears to be the wider Clic Clac H format, rather than the narrower Clic H. Hermès currently describes the Clic Clac H as its wide enamel bracelet, measuring approximately 20mm in width, while the narrower Clic H measures approximately 12mm. Current silver-finish examples use palladium-plated hardware and are made in France.

The bracelet is accompanied by an Hermès herringbone drawstring pouch.

There are visible fine scratches, small marks and general surface wear to the silver-tone hardware, particularly around the reverse and hinge areas. See photos.

The important mark in your new photograph is the P enclosed within a square beside the Hermès hallmark. Hermès' square-letter dating sequence ran from 1997–2014, and □P corresponds specifically to 2012. Independent Hermès date-code references give the same sequence: O = 2011, P = 2012, Q = 2013 and R = 2014.

Visible features that are consistent with authentic period examples include the HERMÈS engraving, P-in-square 2012 date code, adjacent workshop/maker markings, construction of the hinge area, polished metal interior, applied enamel construction, and proportions of the H closure.

About the Hermès Clic Clac H

The Clic Clac H has become one of the most recognisable pieces within Hermès' fashion-jewellery collection. Its design reduces the house's visual identity to a single graphic element: the letter H, transformed into an ingenious functional clasp.

Hermès distinguishes between the narrower Clic H and wider Clic Clac H. The current Clic H measures approximately 12mm across, while the Clic Clac H is approximately 20mm wide, giving the latter a stronger presence on the wrist. Both combine enamel with precious-metal-finished hardware.

The contrast between the cool blue enamel and polished palladium finish makes this example particularly versatile. It has enough colour to stand alone while remaining understated enough to combine with a watch, fine jewellery or additional bangles.

Care

Hermès describes enamel as a delicate material and recommends protecting its jewellery from shocks and scratches, liquids and sources of heat. The house advises cleaning jewellery with a soft cloth or chamois and storing it somewhere dry when it is not being worn.

Given the polished finish of the hardware, we would also recommend storing the bracelet separately from other jewellery to minimise additional surface scratching.

Styling Notes

Wear alone as a polished everyday signature, allowing the blue enamel and H clasp to take focus, or stack alongside slim silver or white-gold bracelets for a layered look.

The blue works particularly well with crisp white shirting, denim, navy tailoring and neutral cashmere. For evening, pair it with a simple black dress and silver-tone jewellery for a clean contrast.
