Delvaux Vintage Charme Bag in Black Jumping Calf Leather with Gold-Tone Hardware

An elegant vintage Delvaux Charme, a documented design from the historic Belgian leather house. The structured silhouette combines softly grained black Jumping calf leather with polished gold-tone hardware and Delvaux’s distinctive sculptural detailing. Documented examples of the Charme share this characteristic twin-handle, zip-top construction and suede-lined interior.

The gently tapered body is finished with twin rolled leather handles secured through gold-tone rings, including DELVAUX engraving, while the top zip features a signature D-motif pull. A coordinating leather D charm provides another discreet house signature.

The zip fastening opens to a spacious cognac suede-lined interior with practical internal pockets. Protective gold-tone feet finish the base and help preserve the leather when the bag is placed down.

Condition

Excellent condition.

The black leather remains beautifully presented and the bag retains its structured silhouette. There are light surface scratches to the front and gentle signs of use to the leather, handles and piping, consistent with the bag's age.

The cognac suede interior shows light signs of previous use.

The bag features the correct DELVAUX BRUXELLES – Handmade in Belgium interior stamp together with branded DELVAUX handle hardware, signature D-motif zip pull and charm, high-quality Jumping calf construction and cognac suede interior, all details consistent with documented examples of the vintage Charme. 

No serial number is present: vintage Delvaux bags were not consistently produced with the modern-style identification or serial markings buyers may expect on contemporary luxury bags. 

The “Modèle Déposé” marking found on vintage Delvaux pieces refers to the registered/protected design.
