Chanel Large Perfect Edge Flap Bag Navy Quilted Lambskin  

A beautifully preserved Karl Lagerfeld-era Chanel shoulder bag from circa 2012, this large design combines some of the house’s most recognisable signatures with a less commonly seen structured silhouette. Crafted in exceptionally soft navy lambskin leather, the exterior is finished with classic diamond quilting and contrasted by subtle burgundy edging, giving the bag greater depth than a traditional black Chanel.

The front is centred with Chanel’s iconic interlocking CC turn-lock, complemented by substantial antique gold-tone chain hardware that gives the bag a distinctly vintage-inspired finish. The chain strap incorporates a leather shoulder section for comfortable wear and can be carried at different drops, allowing the bag to sit neatly on the shoulder or be worn with a shorter handle-style drop.

Opening the front flap reveals a spacious burgundy textile-lined interior, creating a rich contrast against the navy exterior. This is a particularly practical Chanel size, offering considerably more capacity than many of the house’s smaller flap bags while maintaining an elegant, streamlined profile. It comfortably accommodates everyday essentials including a phone, full-size wallet, keys, compact umbrella, cosmetics and other personal belongings.

Condition

Excellent condition - The lambskin leather remains beautifully presented, with the quilting retaining its shape and volume.

There is only very minor creasing consistent with careful use to the front of the bag, with no significant wear visible to the exterior.

The gold-tone hardware remains well presented with light signs of use. Minor wear is visible to the interior CC clasp mechanism, as pictured.

The eight-digit 16-series serial number dates the bag to approximately 2012, placing it within Karl Lagerfeld's tenure as Creative Director of Chanel.

The serial sticker remains present inside the bag, alongside the CHANEL Made in Italy leather plaque.
