Condition

Excellent condition.

The caviar leather remains beautifully structured with well-defined quilting throughout. The gold-tone hardware is bright, with only very light surface scratches to the CC turn-lock fastening. The interior is clean and well presented, with only light fading to the gold Chanel logo stamp. Overall, the bag presents exceptionally well with only minimal signs of careful use.

Authenticity & Provenance

Estimated production: 2011–2013 (pre-chip era). This is a pre-2021 Chanel Classic Maxi Double Flap in black caviar leather with light gold hardware. The original serial sticker, which was located in the correct factory position inside the main compartment, is no longer present. The bag has been professionally authenticated by Entrupy and is accompanied by the Entrupy certificate as well as the reseller's certificate of authenticity and purchase receipt. The missing serial sticker does not affect the authenticity of the bag but has been reflected in the pricing.

Authenticity markers include the premium caviar leather, diamond quilting, leather-interwoven chain strap, gold-tone CC turn-lock fastening, burgundy leather double flap interior, correct Chanel interior branding, Made in Italy stamp and craftsmanship consistent with authentic Chanel production.
