Chanel Chevron Flap Bag Black Lambskin Gold Hardware

A distinctive Chanel shoulder bag from the Karl Lagerfeld era, crafted from supple black lambskin leather with graphic chevron quilting and contrasting gold-tone hardware. The structured flap silhouette is framed by polished gold-tone metal detailing, drawing attention to the geometric V-shaped construction and signature CC turn-lock fastening.

Finished with Chanel’s leather-interwoven chain strap, the design offers a more architectural interpretation of the House’s classic codes. Dating to the late Karl Lagerfeld period, this is an especially striking collector’s piece combining traditional Chanel craftsmanship with the stronger graphic direction associated with his later collections.

Condition

Excellent condition, only some very light wear to the CC clasp on the front and very light indentations the top flap rests against the front. One very light scratch to the back exterior and one on the top right of the flap.

Serial Number: 24735926

The serial begins with 24, identifying it as a 24-series Chanel piece, corresponding to approximately 2017–2018 production. Chanel bags from this period used an eight-digit serial number on the House’s security hologram sticker.

This places the bag within the Karl Lagerfeld era at Chanel, when Lagerfeld was the House’s creative director. His tenure was known for continually reworking Chanel signatures such as quilting, chain straps, CC hardware and structured flap bags through increasingly graphic and contemporary designs.

The serial number provides important dating information but, on its own, should not be considered independent proof of authenticity.
