Chanel CC Gripoix Brooch in Gold-Tone Metal with Multicolour Glass and Faux Pearls

A striking piece of Chanel costume jewellery, this Karl Lagerfeld era CC brooch combines the House's iconic interlocking logo with richly coloured cabochons, delicate faux pearls and chain detailing. Crafted in gold-tone metal, the design forms the classic double-C silhouette through a series of individually set decorative elements, giving the brooch a distinctly jewel-like appearance.

The brooch is embellished with Gripoix-style glass cabochons in deep burgundy, amber, peach and black tones, interspersed with small white faux pearls. Fine gold-tone chain links connect the central elements of the interlocking CC, adding texture and movement to the design. The combination of coloured glass, pearls and warm gold-tone metal draws on the Byzantine-inspired costume jewellery aesthetic long associated with Chanel.

Condition

Excellent condition.

The gold-tone metal remains bright and beautifully presented with only very light surface wear consistent with careful use.
